New man on campus

On Tuesday, I had the opportunity to sit down and interview the new head basketball coach of Auburn, Bruce Pearl.
How did I get to do this?
I’ll give you a hint. It was through the organization that I have been blogging about for a while.
Wait for it…
Eagle Eye, that’s it.
Coach Pearl and I sat down for about a half-hour and in that half-hour, I learned things about the new coach on the plains that I never knew before.
What was really gratifying about the interview was learning how much Coach Pearl wants to be involved with the students.
If you saw his arrival at the airport, you saw how he jumped in the mosh pit. From that, it is obvious how much he loves the students.
He told me that he works for me now. He wants to be involved with this campus as much as possible, whether that be coming into classrooms, leading charities or anything else.
It was simply amazing to interview a man of his stature, but at the same time, it was amazing to see someone who is so accessible.
Accessible. That word reminds me of Eagle Eye.
Getting involved at Eagle Eye makes your career goals accessible. If you want it, it is there.
I wanted to interview Bruce Pearl. Eagle Eye helped me achieve that.
